Four ways to work together

Four parallel structures, differing in how far A1ONE is involved. None of them is a higher tier than another.

The four models are ordered by how far A1ONE is involved, not by quality. This page marks none of them as the preferred choice.

ADVISORY

You Own. You Operate. A1ONE Advises.

Claude draft — awaiting CEO sign-off

A1ONE works with your team to redesign the business model, the customer journey, the training programme and the growth plan. You keep full control and put those designs into operation yourself. A1ONE stays alongside at an agreed cadence and takes no part in day-to-day decisions.

Who it fits, who it does not, how far responsibility goes
Fits when
  • Middle management is already strong enough to carry the implementation
  • The business runs well and needs a new direction, not a new way of operating
  • The owner wants to keep every decision and needs expertise alongside, not control
Does not fit when
  • There is no middle management to take on the implementation
  • The owner is already overloaded and needs part of operations taken off them
  • Results are needed on a tight timeline the team cannot staff
How far A1ONE's responsibility extends

A1ONE is responsible for the quality of the design and the recommendation, and for handing it over clearly enough that your team can implement it. A1ONE is not responsible for operating results, because in this model A1ONE does not hold operating control.

02

POWERED

You Operate. A1ONE Powers.

Claude draft — awaiting CEO sign-off

You keep running your business, on A1ONE's operating system. A1ONE provides the process, the competency framework, the training, the technology platform, the marketing playbooks and the KPI set — then stays alongside at an agreed reporting cadence.

Who it fits, who it does not, how far responsibility goes
Fits when
  • The team operates well but lacks a standard system to scale on
  • A second or third site is coming and every site must run the same way
  • Process has been written in-house before but never held for more than a few months
Does not fit when
  • You want a plan and then to go it alone, without an ongoing relationship
  • You are not ready to change today's way of working for a shared system
How far A1ONE's responsibility extends

A1ONE is responsible for the operating system it hands over: process, training, technology, the KPI set, and continuous support for the life of the contract. Day-to-day operating control and all people decisions stay with the owner.

03

MANAGED

A1ONE Operates With You.

Claude draft — awaiting CEO sign-off

A1ONE takes part directly in running the business alongside the owner: management, operations, people, KPI, sales, marketing, technology and customer experience. Ownership stays with the owner; how day-to-day decision rights are divided is written into each individual contract.

Who it fits, who it does not, how far responsibility goes
Fits when
  • The owner wants to focus on strategy and investment rather than daily operations
  • The business needs its operations rebuilt from the base, not adjusted in parts
  • A new site is opening and an experienced operating team is wanted from day one
Does not fit when
  • The owner wants to keep every day-to-day decision
  • The business runs well and only needs improvement in parts
How far A1ONE's responsibility extends

A1ONE is responsible for the workstreams assigned in the contract, against a KPI set agreed by both sides at the start. The boundary of responsibility, the decision rights and what happens when a KPI is missed are written into each contract.

04

PARTNER

We Build the Business Together.

Claude draft — awaiting CEO sign-off

A1ONE and the owner build the business together, with both sides holding a share in the outcome. The structure may be a joint venture, revenue share, management contract, strategic partnership or co-investment — case by case, under its own commercial agreement.

Who it fits, who it does not, how far responsibility goes
Fits when
  • A new business is being built and the owner wants a partner carrying risk too
  • The owner has the site or the capital and needs operating capability and a system
  • Both sides want long-term aligned interests rather than a service purchase
Does not fit when
  • The owner does not want to share ownership or a share of the result
  • A fixed scope at a fixed cost is what is needed
How far A1ONE's responsibility extends

Each side's responsibility is set in its own agreement, in proportion to what each contributes and receives. There is no single level of responsibility that applies to every Partner contract.

Every partnership structure is subject to its own individual commercial agreement. This page is not a legal or financial commitment.
